I am so excited to join the HTH inclusion team this year! I grew up in rural Wisconsin and moved to Cambridge, MA to complete my B.S. in Counseling at Lesley University. While in college I selected internships focusing on mental health, homelessness and inclusive programs for children. I deeply value my time working in inclusive environments that provide access and opportunities for all, which led me working in education. When I moved to San Diego I began working as an art teacher and instructional assistant in an inclusive school and transitioned to supporting students with crisis-intervention and behavioral/academic interventions. This year I started the HTH Ed Specialist credentialing program so I can better serve students with special needs. I am passionate about social-emotional learning, social justice and helping develop the next generation of changemakers.
